Joshua King has urged his teammates to use their encounters against Brighton as a building block for a fresh start to their season.
Up until last Friday, the ´Cherries´ were winless across all competitions. Since then, they have picked up the first Premier League points of the season, as well as advancing to the last 16 of the Carabao Cup.
It was King who broke his duck so far this season with an extra-time winner against Chris Hughton's side, and he is hungry for more.
"We started the season badly, by our standards, but we know where we need to be," said King.
"Even though we won on Friday, we know we can do better. We've got a tough game on Saturday against Everton and we have to be up for it.
"We showed against Manchester City (in a 2-1 defeat) how good we can be so we just need to focus and work hard.
"It's good to get off the mark [too]," the striker added.
"It's my first goal of the season and one that you're always looking to get. The fact that it was one that really helped the team was pleasing."
